Landsby Laboratoriet (The Village Laboratory) aims to explore the social and cultural patterns that creates unity in a village. This community wants to exceed our usual idea of what a village is.
The idea is to complete a series of investigatigations in the village’s cultural events. These actions build on a 10-year cultural plan. The content will be cultural events in which local associations, groups and individuals actively participate in the creation of a cultural event.
As a model for Landsby Laboratoriet, two important areas are working together: one is the Biennale and the other is the Village Meeting. By creating these two forums, there will be both a presentation forum and a discussion forum where different actors can show and speak with the aim of continuing to search and develop models for the village of the future.
