African Footprint – Free performance
21. August @ 20:00 – 21:30
NOTE: The show is sold out – “Generation Footprint: Bridging the Gap Through Music, Dance, and Drumming”
Enter the vibrant world of the African Footprint Foundation, the Danish branch of African Footprint International, an initiative ignited by Samuel Kweku Addison in Ghana back in 2000. With an unwavering vision, African Footprint strives to mend societal divisions and heal related situations using the universal languages of music, drumming, and dance.

For over an astounding 23 years, African Footprint has traversed countries across the globe, spreading the power of music and dance along with the rhythmic beat of drums, forging connections between the privileged and the less fortunate, able-bodied and differently-abled individuals alike.
Footprint has earned renown for crafting networks of music, education, and culture. This very action has seen Footprint uniting with exceptional musicians and bands, participating in musical events and performances, and leveraging the force of music, dance, and drums to achieve specific goals.
In its latest endeavor, the African Footprint Foundation seeks partnerships to unleash the potential of art in bridging generational and societal gaps, utilizing music, dance, drumming, and other creative activities.

The crux of this project lies in the concept of engaging in movements that celebrate health and acknowledge the achievements of seniors through dance. This project, aptly named “Generation Footprint,” aims to merge and bridge the young, representing the new generation, and the elder generation, encompassing the seasoned individuals of society.
African Footprint is on a mission to combat the gap that exists between generations through the power of music, drumming, and dance, while also bringing the joy of music to the dancing feet of the elderly in the community.
The performance is free of charge, but you must withdraw a free ticket via the button below.
