WORKSHOP for actors, dancers and musicians, held annually at Odin Teatret in Denmark during 3 weeks of January and conducted by Donald Kitt.
The workshop will begin every day with physical and vocal training.
We will concentrate on exercises developed by Odin Teatret using sticks as a tangible force as well as the performer’s dynamic centre (core).
The afternoons will be devoted to the creation of material inspired by the training and by our proposals, and we will work on codification, organicity, rhythm and repetition.
The workshop is conducted by Donald Kitt.
Participants:
Background could be actors, theatre students, dancers, performers, musicians, and anyone with a passion and interest in discovering techniques and tools of theatre practice
Dates: 4 – 19 January 2023, 6 hours a day

-Access to workspaces and common areas such as music rooms, library, archives and video rooms
-Staying in shared rooms, bathrooms and shower rooms

Practical information:
Participants arrive at the theater on January 3 and leave on January 19, 2024
The workshop will be held in English and the leader can communicate in Italian and Spanish
All participants will receive an official certificate of participation
